The station runs on solar and battery. This module reads the Victron gear — the MPPT charge controllers, the shunt on the battery, the inverter — and turns it into numbers the rest of the system can use: solar watts in, load watts out, battery state of charge, battery voltage, and the direction the whole thing is heading.
It is the module that answers the only question that really matters at a remote site: is the station going to still be there tomorrow morning? Everything else is comfort.
